If you’re looking to make your home more energy efficient and reduce your bills, there are a number of different funding solutions available. Each one has its own eligibility criteria, so it’s well worth completing the application forms to see if you’re eligible.

What can I apply for?

Boiler replacements, insulation, central heating, electric storage heaters, solar energy systems, air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps.

How much can I claim?

From a few hundred pounds to thousands, depending on the project.

What are the criteria for eligibility?

The ECO4 grant scheme has two main areas for eligibility:

Property energy efficiency:

Your property must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F or G.

Household income or benefits:

You qualify if you receive one of the following means-tested benefits:

  • Child benefit
  • Pension Credit
  • Universal Credit
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Housing Benefit
  • Tax Credits (Child or Working Tax Credit)

Alternatively, if you don’t receive these benefits, you may still be able to get funding through ECO Flex.
